About the SATI TMB Trek
The SATI Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) trek in summer 2023 was focused on creating a new narrative on sustainability in mountain tourism through expert insights and collaboration.
The multi-day modular TMB trek led, by Sarisher Mann, was created as an alternative approach to fostering knowledge sharing networks and solutions driven conversations in an inclusive, nature focused and engaging way in the outdoors. The project used expert-led workshops and experiential outdoor discussions to connect knowledge networks, interdisciplinary expertise, and collaborate on progressive sustainability and resiliency solutions in alpine contexts. The trekkers included innovators at the forefront of sustainability and resiliency solutions across the Alps.
The project and deep dive regional examples will be documented in a short film directed by sustainability film maker Michael Shaw and produced by Sarisher Mann.
