The Sustainable Alpine Tourism Initiative (SATI) harnesses the power of multi-stakeholder engagement to accelerate sustainability in mountain regions. SATI connects mountain sustainability pioneers across tourism, infrastructure, the outdoor industry, policy makers, researchers and community leaders.
SATI was founded in 2018 by Cambridge University sustainability leadership research alumni and sustainable finance expert, Sarisher Mann.
Sarisher has been passionate about mountain environments all her life. As a sustainability leader, enthusiastic hiker and keen skier, Sarisher is driven by a mission to create a new solutions driven narrative about climate action and adaptation in mountain contexts.
SATI has enabled the connection of change makers across mountain regions, supported knowledge sharing between sectors, and scaled up impactful sustainability strategies through several projects.
